Easy Day

Today was to be a rest day, but I was feeling restless, so I jumped in the pool for an incredibly easy 20 minute swim. It felt great. The only thing is, I've noticed a sore spot on my leg that isn't going away with stretching or ice. I'm hoping it's just my nerves doing crazy stuff again, and not something more serious.

One positive to note this morning... For a while, I had plateaued in the weight loss. This morning, the scale had crept back down a little bit. I'll take any move in that direction, no matter how small it is!!

This should be a pretty easy week of running. Saturday's 11 at Cades Cove was my last big run before Tahoe. I cannot believe we're here already!! I know these next couple of weeks are going to fly by, but I also know there will be a lot of days of doubt and wondering if I really am ready and if I really have done enough. This is when trusting the coach becomes even more important, and remembering how far I've come and how much I've been through to get to this point keeps things in perspective.
